Our Legacy
7 generations of piano expertise.
The Holland family is a piano business spanning 7 generations, with Alexandra Holland, R.P.T., representing the 6th generation and her daughter Alison Holland, R.P.T., the 7th generation. Our legacy dates to the early 1800s when Johnston Holland began serving the piano industry in Ireland. We are privileged and honoured to continue this family tradition.
Our mission is to uphold the expertise, dedication and passion for pianos that our forefathers passed down to us.
Holland Pianos was established over 65 years ago by Alexander (Alec) Holland and his wife Eileen when they moved from Dublin to Carlow. Having previously worked as the Senior Concert Tuner-Technician for Piggott's in Dublin, Alec made the brave decision to go out on his own and launch his own piano business. Alexandra, along with a highly qualified and skilful team, operates Holland Pianos from her showroom in Carlow.
Our priority is to provide information, advice and guidance when choosing the right instrument to suit your budget and proficiency. This is central to our ethos and to continuing our family business.
