In our Restoration Department, we offer a full or partial service, from minor case repairs to a full restoration and rebuilding programme. We help customers give new life to a cherished family heirloom and return their piano to its former glory.
Restoration is a complex and intricate process. A piano may require complete restoration to its original timber state, or a partial restoration may be all that is needed. Veneer may need repairing or replacing, and broken or missing pieces are replaced before staining and finishing. Some finishes require several coats. This skilled workmanship is carried out on site by our technical and restoration team.
